The Governor of Dakahlia inspects the ongoing constructions at the solid municipal waste development plant and the agricultural waste recycling plant in Qalabsho, Belqas Center.

Today, Monday, Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, inspected the ongoing construction of the solid municipal waste treatment and recycling plant in the Qalabsho area of Belqas Center. The plant spans 17.5 acres and is being built at a cost of 11 million euros. It will operate with a capacity of 600 tons per day to serve the centers of Belqas, Sherbin, and Gamasa. The project is being implemented as part of the water improvement activities within the Kitchener Drain program and is supervised by the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Arab-British Dynamic Industries Company.

Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, conducted an inspection tour of the ongoing construction of solid waste recycling factories in Kafr El-Sheikh City and Desouk City, located in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. The projects are being implemented by the Arab-British Dynamic Industries Company (ABD), one of the subsidiaries of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. This initiative comes as part of the Kitchener Drain Water Quality Improvement Project (Solid Waste Program), which is funded by the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
